The distribution of Hand Hoes Gweri and Awalwal sub counties was yesterday conducted successfully Last week, the District launched the official distribution of the Hand hoes in Katine sub county. The district last month received a total of 118,416 from NAADS Secretariat/OWC for the distribution to our people so as to increase Agricultural production for increased household income. Each household is receiving 2 hoes. The distribution on Monday 12th was headed by the RDC Patrick Okumu in the company of district LC-5 Chairperson Simon Peter Edoru Ekuu. The distribution continues in other sub counties. So far, no incident of anyone missing a hoe has been reported.
